Do you ever find it hard to memorize verses? Well, in this post, we are going to be covering some creative ideas for memorizing Scripture.
Idea 1: Bible memory app
I actually used the verse locker app to memorize 5 verses in 2 hours. It was an awesome app with no ads or paid options. If you would like a different app, I recommend the verse app. If you are looking for a more game app, I recombed this kids verse memory app. These apps are all great!
Idea 2: Color the Verse
Want to craft and memorize verses at the same time? Check out the coloring pages on this website! They are free for you to use. Coloring scripture is fun. You look at the verses as you memorize and color them.
Idea 3: Review Strategy
Do you have more time like a day or two to remember a verse? Well, with this method, you will remember the verses longer. Start by memorizing the verse first thing when you wake up. Next, review the verse every 30 min. This is great for verses you want to remember to help you with things you are struggling with.
Idea 4: Design a mirror sheet
Open a free app like Canva or Publisher and design a verse with fancy fonts and maybe some flowers or something else. After that, put it on your mirror. Every time you wash your hands, do makeup, brush your teeth, or anything else, you read the verse!
Idea 5: Make a Plan
Do you find yourself saying "I'll memorize my verses later"? If so, try this hack. Make a plan. For example: Say I will say my verse 10 times at 2:30. Then make sure you say your verse 10 times at 2:30!
