Do you LOVE sports? Maybe you like Soccer, Track, or even Basketball! If you do, I am so glad you are reading this Spark, because today, I am going to be sharing with you 5 Sports training Workouts.
Most of these workouts work best at a basketball court or a soccer field, but make adjustments as needed.
These workouts will improve speed for long games, and enhance the ability to move directions quickly. Speed is an important skill in any sport, so that's at the core of all of these workouts!

Soccer Field Conditioning Workout
First, let's talk Soccer. It is 5th most popular sport in the USA. Soccer has a lot of moving and running embedded in the sport, so why not have a workout that incorporates all those things?

Step 1: 2 Full field Laps *Key is to pace yourself
Step 2: Sprint across Field Twice
Step 3: Plank for 2 min.
Step 4: 1 Set of suicides (Sprint as fast as you can to a mark and then sprint back, repeat 5 times going farther each time)
Step 5: 25 Squat jumps
Step 6: 1 Set of suicides
Step 7: Repeat 4 times
Soccer Field Ball + Running Workout
Ready for another Soccer workout? This one is a bit more easy. This one also includes more ball movement. Both skills are combined in this workout, but there is running too, but a few more breaks.

Step 3: 2 min. Break
Step 4: Weave ball through cones
Step 5: Dribble ball across field
Step 6: 1 Set of sucides
Step 7: Repeat 2 Times
Basketball Workout
Next let's move to the Number 2 most popular sport in the US: Basketball. Basketball is actually my favorite sport. I love the fast-paced game! So, Let's do another workout!
Step 1: 50 Free throws
Step 2: 30 Layups on each side
Step 3: 15 Three-pointers
Step 4: 20 Crossovers
Step 5: 30 Behind the back
Step 6: 20 between the legs
Step 7: 1 Set sucides
Running Track Workout
Do you like running? Maybe you want a faster 1 mile, 5K, or even 10K! Unjust the distances in this workout for a certain distance. This workout will be for improving the one mile. This workout can also be used for Soccer or basketball too!
