Carsick? Tips

You know that awful feeling of going up a windy road or even just the regular one? Here are some things that help me that maybe you could try too!

  1. Don't Read I know. It sounds awful but reading can make you get carsick more easily. opt for screens or something other than reading.

  2. Chew gum For the windy roads this is SO helpful. I like taking at least some gum on trips to camp and other places with windy roads.

  3. Stay hydrated I often find this helps me get rid of headaches from not drinking much water. Try bringing some water but not too much. Drink about 45 min. Before stops.

  4. Eat snacks (Rest assured you don't need to eat snacks for 12 hours straight not to get carsick) Just a little snack every 30 min has surprising benefits!

Well, I hope you can (but don't have to) use theses tips!

Easy lunch making

I love it when the morning of our road trips all of us kids make our lunches. Its fun to pack and create our lunches together. I have tried a few road trip recipes and hacks. Speaking of hacks, let's look at those first!

Tip 1: Use a Bento Box

I love using the organized lunch boxes with sections for keeping food organized and clean during trips. Right now, I use this bento box but there are more too!

Tip 2: Freeze yogurt pops

Want an ice pack you don't have to keep track of? Try this hack: Freeze a yogurt pop (or other refrigerated snack). By the time lunch comes it will be thawed and your lunch will still be cooled!

Easy lunch Ideas

Now that we have explored packing, lets make some food! Here are my favorites:
