Tips for a GREAT afternoon + Afternoon Vlog

Writer: Sadie Myers Sadie Myers

Hey girls! Do you ever find yourself having good intentions to be productive and get a lot done, but then doom-scroll, or get distracted? I've been there! In this post, I'm going to be sharing some tips for a productive, but fun afternoon.

Tip 1: Plan

Your afternoons won't be the same every day, so find out what works. You don't need to write your plan down on paper, but it will help you to just have and idea with time blocks.

Example:

1:00 - Read a book

1:15 - Work on Cleaning

1:30 - Shopping

2:45 - Bible study

3:10 - Snack

3:15 - Get ready for Sports practice

3:30 - Sports practice

Tip 2: Make it Fun

For me, some afternoons feel top notch preppy! Some of them feel like trash! Some of them feel like slosh and gloom. That's OKAY! To make things fun, I love listening to music, and podcasts as I do boring things. Figure it out! Can you make it a game while you clean? Can you watch TV while you stretch?

Tip 3: Add things to look Forward to

To make the time after school fun, try do do 2-3 fun things every week. For me, that looks like Team Track practice, or shopping. For you that could look like something else you enjoy! It doesn't have to be super big, it can be little, but make it fun!
