You can make it: DIY Squishes

Do you just love those super squishy delights you find at the store? Aren't they just SO cute and soft? Well, the answer is yes! Squishes are a fun fidget toy to play with. You can squish them in the car, at school, and just play with them. You can do them creative. Moriah Elizabeth has invented a whole universe of characters and cuteness on squishes. Guess what? You can to.

You don't have to even buy squishes from the store to customize. You can make them! Isn't that cool?!? That's why in todays post, we are talking squishes. How to make them your way.

Squishy 1: The donut

This squishy idea is SO cool. You know what will make it cooler? If you have a donut mold. If you have one of these things (I got mine on Amazon) It will make things easier, plus you can make donuts another time that you can eat!

What you need:

Make the squishes:

  1. With a marker, mark a cup A, B, and stir. Mark the popsicle sticks the same way.

  2. Add 1 1/2 ounces of part A liquid

  3. Measure 3 ounces of liquid B in place it in cup B

  4. Combine the A and B into the stir cup. Do this quickly.

  5. Pour the mixture into the molds.

  6. Leave it to set for two hours.

  7. Remove from the molds and paint them!

Squishy 1: The Paper Cat

The great thing about this one? YOU get to color it in any way! You can even print a picture and turn it into a squishy with this idea. This one is also easy to make. Whip out five in an afternoon! Say hello to a squishy business!

What you need:

  • Paper

  • Marker

  • Clear tape (packaging)

  • Scissors

  • Stuffing (Before you throw away a stuffed animal, remove the stuffing and make this craft with the filling!)

Make the squishes:

  1. Draw your design on the paper.

  2. Cut out your design with scissors.

  3. Repeat steps 1-2 with the same design and shape

  4. Tape the the two together but leave about four inches of space un taped.

  5. Add the stuffing in the hole.

  6. Seal that hole up with more packaging tape!

  7. Squish as desired!
